Impression 5 is a hands-on learning environment that challenges its visitors to experience, discover, and explore the world in which they live. Impression 5 achieves this by producing hands-on exhibits and participatory programs.

Impression 5 Science Center and grounds are no smoking for the health of all visitors.

Programs for the youngest of scientists!
 
“Little Learners” is a workshop series designed especially for 1- to 4-year-olds.  

Each series is five weeks long and introduces learners to science topics
through exploratory play, songs, books, and activities.

Parents will be able to journal progression in language, gross and fine motor
skills, problem solving, and social/emotional development.

When?
Choose a time and day for your five-week workshop series:
For 1- to 2-Year-Olds
  • 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.:  Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
  • 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.:  Saturday or Sunday
  • 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.:  Sunday
For 3- to 4-Year-Olds
  • 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.:  Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
  • 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.:  Sunday

Reservations are required, so register today by calling (517) 485-8116, extension 32.  Space is limited to 12 children per session.

For each five-week workshop series, the cost of attendance is as follows:
  • $35.00/Member child
  • $50.00/Not-Yet Member child
Adult chaperones are free, but required.
