Impression 5 is a hands-on learning environment that challenges its visitors to experience, discover, and explore the world in which they live. Impression 5 achieves this by producing hands-on exhibits and participatory programs.

Impression 5 Science Center and grounds are no smoking for the health of all visitors.

throwing things.jpgSome of our most popular activities are in the Throwing Things exhibit. In this area, you can investigate many different ways to transfer energy. Try using pressurized air in the Air Cannon or the Bottle Rocket.Tennis balls will be flying everywhere as you explore potential and kenetic energy within this very dynamic exhibit. How about using counter weights in the Trebuchet?  Maybe even your own arm in the pitching cage!  Which exhibit can move a tennis ball the fastest with the least amount of effort on your part?
