Impression 5 is a hands-on learning environment that challenges its visitors to experience, discover, and explore the world in which they live. Impression 5 achieves this by producing hands-on exhibits and participatory programs.

Impression 5 Science Center and grounds are no smoking for the health of all visitors.

Impression 5 is a member of the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) and its passport program. We honor membership cards from any ASTC member institution.

pictures 002.jpgSponsored by emergent biosolutions, Don't Make Me Sick! allows you to explore the anatomy of a human cell and learn how some cells are specialized to protect us from getting sick.

On the left, Cyrus Miller, the Exhibits Officer at Impression 5 and Scott Lobert, volunteer, complete preparations on the newly refinished floor!

cells.jpg To the right, a young scientist explores tissue samples through one of two specialty Wentz Scopes. Other hands-on activites include an interactive model of a human cell, and a magnifying glass to explore the surface of your skin, our first line of defense!
