Connecting With Chemistry PDF Print E-mail

Next to Throwing Things, is our Connecting With Chemistry exhibit.  See the difference between an atom and a molecule, then build some of your own.  Or visit the periodic table to find out which elements compose which object.

Complimenting our Connecting with Chemistry exhibit is the Touch Tech Chemistry Lab.  Here you can experience one of Impression 5's most popular activities:  Slime!  No visit to Impression 5 would be complete without making your own bag of ooey-gooey Slime to play with.  Slime is made under the direction of a certified Slime professional who will tell you about the ingredients we use and the reactions that take place in creating  Slime.  Slime workshops take place frequently, but please inquire at the Admissions Desk for the day's schedule when you arrive.  There is a small materials fee of just $2 if you wish to take the Slime.
