Homeschool Programs @ Impression 5

One Thursday a month during the school year Impression 5 holds a special homeschool programs day.   We have developed a series of workshops especially for homeschooling families (see below for topics).  Each workshop is tailored for four different age groups ranging from preschool to fifth grade and up.   Any homeschooling family is invited to attend the workshops on these days.

Homeschool families attending our workshops do receive the group rate for admission.  Please note that the group admission rate is now $3.50 per person.  Those who plan on attending more than one session should consider becoming museum members.  For a one-time fee of $55 your family will get free admission not only at I-5 but at all other ASTC member science centers across the state and country.  See our Membership section for more info.  Also, each workshop (except the first in October) will have a $3 per child lab fee.

Each workshop is broken into the following grade levels and times:

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten: 10:15-10:45

  • 1st and 2nd grades: 10:45-11:30

  • 3rd and 4th grades: 11:30-12:15

  • 5th grade and up: 12:15-1:00

Your family may arrive and check in starting when our doors open at 10:00.  If you have older children, you may arrive later but be advised that because of the heavy attendance these sessions will try to start promptly at the scheduled times.
