How does your body protect you from getting sick? In an exhibit called Don’t Make Me Sick! visitors will learn about cells, the basic units of life on earth and the immune system that works night and day to keep us healthy. Using several different types of microscopes as well as interactive models they will explore how specialized cells perform all of the jobs needed for us to live. Visitors will view and compare organisms like bacteria and viruses that make us sick and learn how our immune system works to protect us.  This exhibit is sponsored by Emergent Biosolutions.
