Volunteers are a big part of the Impression 5 community. They devote a lot of their personal time to helping visitors PLAY • CREATE • CHALLENGE, and we're so grateful for all that they do. Vincent spent his summer volunteering at the science center, and he agreed to share his reflections on the experience with us!

All summer long, L.A.B.S. campers have found unique ways to PLAY • CREATE • CHALLENGE as they've explored everything from dinosaurs to robots to rockets to art. And nobody did this better than the Movie Maker campers who explored the science of flim as they created their very own movies!

Impression 5 belongs to an amazing community of partners that help make PLAY • CREATE • CHALLENGE possible every day. Each family that explores our hands-on exhibits is able to do so through the wonderful support of our partners and sponsors. Executive Director Erik explains just how important these community partnerships are to the science center.

Did you know Impression 5 dreams up nearly all of our own exhibits right inside the science center? We tracked down Steven, our extremely talented Exhibit Designer, to chat about the initial ideas behind the creation of Build Zone. He was happy to share some of the concepts and sketches that set the groundwork for our latest exhibit!
