ABOUT:

• Marilynne Eichinger founded Impression 5 in 1972.
• Impression 5 facilitates learners of all ages in exploring, discovering, and experiencing the scientific wonders of the world we live in. This is achieved through the creation of interactive exhibits, traveling exhibits, and participatory educational programming.
• Impression 5 refers to the five senses and the way that each sense is engaged when guests visit.
• Impression 5 Science Center is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit organization.
• Since 1982, Impression 5 has been located on Museum Drive in downtown Lansing. The building was originally used as a lumber mill.
  
• For the past 39 years, Impression 5 has served nearly 3 million visitors.

WHAT'S HERE?

• An exhibit area that covers more than 25,000 square feet.
• More than a dozen exhibits feature self-choice, learner-directed activities.
• A Chemistry Lab that hosts activities such as slime workshops and dry ice demonstrations!
• Space for school groups, birthday parties, and other parties and events.

Impression 5 Science Center is open six days a week during the following hours:

• Tuesday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Sunday: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
• Monday: closed
  
• Closed major holidays, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.

• Adults: $5.00
• Children 1, & older: $5.00
• Seniors: $4.50
• Children, up to 1 year old: FREE
• Impression 5 & ASTC Members: FREE with valid membership card
• AAA members: Receive a 10% discount on regular admission or a 10% discount on the purchase of a membership
